International law firm Damiani & Damiani LAB, with the artist Tommaso Chiappa and the project “Station” creative stop, on the occasion of “Palermo Capital of Culture 2018”, wants to give a multicultural message to all its partners and create an exchange artistic between the city of Palermo, historical site of Damiani&Damiani international law firm, and all media partners associated around the world, thanks to this project shared on the platforms available for Damiani&Damiani, will have visibility in the national and international territory. The partenr associated participating in the “Station” creative stop project are honored by the artist of a work of varying dimensions and techniques. At the end of the event held at Casena dei Trabia alle Terre Rosse in Palermo from 20 to 31 May 2018, Tommaso Chiappa will create the finissage, in October 2018 at the headquarters of the Damiani&Damiani international law firm, in via Gioacchino Di Marzo 14 / F in Palermo. In that location the artist presents an installation created specifically for the study and will show the video, the photographs and all the material recovered from the social networks by the associated studios and the associated media that will participate in the event divided into 3 parts:

The “Station” project will be essentially divided into 3 parts: the first part held Sunday May 20 in the gardens of Casena dei Trabia alle Terre Rosse. It is to be considered the moment of discovery of the artist’s work, which researches and represents a multi-ethnic reality in continuous evolution that changes our daily life in a positive or negative way. The artist will draw and paint with different techniques: graphite, acrylic, oil, watercolor, different peoples, cultures, fragments of everyday life. Tommaso Chiappa has always wanted to represent the social changes of the Sicilian reality, and not only. With his painting, between monochrome and color, he often tends to underline some human aspects. The colors and themes, almost always real, are used to tell us about a city in strong change. In addition to creating a real workshop of ideas and content on the day of May 20 that focuses on the man immersed in its multiculturalism and diversity, from 21 to 31 May the artist will build an installation / exhibition in the library of Casena dei Trabia alle Terre Rosse from the title, Station / creative stop, where visitors or users of the library of Villa Trabia can visit the exhibition consisting of 14 works that represent people, places, sensations, visions of the artist during his continuous trips to Italy, Europe and world. The selection of the works tends to widen the concept of Global Station in the world where we are all unwitting travelers. Today, more than ever, thanks to the Internet and increasingly frequent travel, the way of living places has changed, even those historicized as a square, a local or a street. Everything often turns out to be a place of passage where to meet, develop connections or maybe take a selfie. In this reality, which is not always profound, but where multicultural relationships develop even through social media, the Station exhibition is inserted. At the end of the exhibition the artist, in collaboration with the Art Partners and with the patronage of the City of Palermo, sends these 14 works to 14 different Italian, European or world cities, to make Palermo Capital of Culture 2018 known. shot and edited in video-art published on social media

The city of Palermo thus becomes the Capital of Culture, professionally and artistically setting up dialogues essential for growth and integration with the rest of the world.
